They were a few days late -- but I don't know if something came up and you had to mail them a few days late, or if you mailed them on time and just forgot to mark 'send.' Communication would help. :-) But since I don't know for sure, and they arrived within a reasonable amount of time (and I don't see signs of habitual lateness on your profile) I'm rating a '5.' Okay, now that that part's out of the way, I did like the cards... especially the clock! For choosing the cards randomly (as you wrote), your selections turned out to match my profile fairly well. :-)

Comment: Cool Frankenstein postcard. I remember reading Frankenstein. I think I read it when I was in Denmark as an exchange student. I read tons of classics because I was bored during the winter (very long). It was tough reading, but worth it.

Comment: Very interesting postcard. Had not heard of Wildmont Lodge or Alexander Jackson Davis. Looked on Google to get more information. Found out the lodge (which was his home) no longer exists, but several homes which he did design (he was an architect) are still in existence. Thanks for sending such a beautiful postcard. Wish his home was still standing - it would have been beautiful to see.

Comment: Great PC -- at one time I drank a lot of vermouth, mixed with mineral water. (We were living in Sicily at the time!) And regarding temperature, believe it or not we are having humidity right now -- it's our "monsoon" season, with lots of rain. I miss Alaska! Thanks again and happy swapping!

My favourite part of our town is the old library and music school. They are very old and look very beautful. in front of them is a tiny little garden with a statue of a man playing the flute. As a kid I would always say hello to him, when I passed him ^^
I have spent most of my holidays in Ireland on a small island. But last year I went to England with one of my friends and hopefully I will go and see Amercia on day! If you have any more questions, please let me know!

Response: oh--sorry-duh!!! most of us americans use a drip' coffee pot with filters and i forgot there's a whole world out there that doesn't--lol. it should work in a french press. after looking up 'moka,' um, sure? it's a coffee grind, not espresso, but i would imagine it would be ok... .

Comment: Its kind of funny... The prices there are similar to the prices here except for some of the sushi prices! I'd think it would be cheaper here - practically right next to the ocean- than there. Thanks for the great menus!
Response: Sushi is an expensive habit, but oh so worth it! There's a grocery store, Sun Fresh in Westport, who does inexpensive, simple and delicious rolls.

Comment: I so love this postcard. My dad was stationed in Turkey and we went to Izmir. I believe we saw this it looks vaguely familiar but we saw so many ruins to a 5 year old I think they all look the same :) I will have to ask my mother. At any rate it brought a smile to my face and faint memories

Comment: Travel before you have kids - but go to the harder places where you can't take kids - like on a sailboat near some tropical islands, or rock climbing, etc. It is not hard to travel with kids - just totally different.
