Comment: Thank you for another great “Jar”. I do love the material used. It is so vibrant, yet mild too. I really like the brother machine that I got from Walmart, for $100. It works much better than the previous machine I had, which had lots of special features. I went with the basic one, because all I needed it to do Was stitch. Good luck on finding a new machine.

Reply to your note: There are some excellent videos on youtube and my favorite, Bluprint, which give you excellent tips on sewing that perfect 1/4" seam which might help you with your frustration or unhappiness with your blocks. They helped me a whole lot. I do hope to keep seeing you in these swaps. I think they are great fun and we are all here to help encourage each other. Practice makes perfect :)

I pick up buttons whenever I see them at the thrifts stores but nothing nearly as cool. I keep my buttons in old gumball machines. I love it. I collect vintage hankies (I would like to make a bed cover with them) and I love this one. The scrap is precious. I am not sure that Christmas can get much better. But all those extras! I wish I could give you 5 hearts. I am wearing the ball and chain necklace which incidently matches the bracelet I got in another swap. The shell lei is fabulous, do you know what the thingies are between the shells? I thought maybe seeds?
