I sealed it with royal coat decoupage finish, clear, satin finish and used a bristly paintbrush to apply it. I liked the texture too.

I was in that same swap with the mail art challenge, and the thing I especially liked about it was that the materials were not stuff that's normally in my stash, so it really was quite a challenge! hope to see your work more in the future!
