I only started doing postcrossing after being in lockdown. I had a lot of free time on my hands to write postcards.
I understand what you mean about postage being expensive, but I find that it brings me a lot of joy, so I spend the money to do it. :)
I hope you are and your loved ones are safe and well!
Response: II start and stop swapping. It really is great getting happy mail. I want to get out now and buy a bunch of cards any flat swap items so this winter I can do a lot of swapping.

Comment: Thank you for the PC. I've never been to Cape Cod. A worship arts dancer dances during the worship part of the service. It incorporates all forms of dance and dance tools such as banners, flag, silks, throw streamers, fan streamers, etc. It's quite beautiful!

I didn't really have any extra money to spend but somehow I can always justify a few new games. รฐลธหล I wish they would have put more Swamp Thing and Vertigo covers in the DC set. Batman is always awesome but why so many Superman PCs?

Comment: Thanks for the fabulous aerial view of the Boston Pops. When I lived in Boston, I'd walk to the Esplanade for Pops concerts - including the 4th of July fireworks - which is good because driving there is a nightmare.

Comment: I love the Cape Cod Light. . .thank you so much. AS for my PC collection, they are mostly in the photo boxes you can get a Michaels and I make 'topic' dividers. My 'state' collection is in a notebook with photo pages that hold six 4x6 photos (3 in front, 3 on back) so I have the state map, capitol, flag, bird, flower, and license plate (a page, both sides, per state. . . and one for DC). Thanks again for the Cape Cod Light. .. and hope to see you again in a upcoming swap ~~

We're going to be headed to New England in September to do a driving trip to see the states there and do a more "hands-on" geography study. I have visited your state several times, and thought it was beautiful. I have been to Plymouth Rock, and have swam at Revere Beach, among other things. There is such great history in that area. Comment: Haha well florida isn't for everyone! I would say anything north of Orlando is ok. Just not Miami. Unless you enjoy the "South Beach" lifestyle. I don't so I deal with the high cost of living, the traffic and the rude people for no reason!

Comment: wow- what a cool card- what technique did you use to make the abstract images?
Response: I'm sorry, I forget which card I sent you. Was it the one that looked like blobs of paint? If so I put acrylic paints on a piece of cardstock or freeser paper then put the cardstock on top, mushed it around a bit and pulled it off. When it was dry I added some lined with a felt tip pen. Fun to do, but messy

Response: Thanks for the great comment. I highly recommend quilting and there are lots of ways to learn. Buy a book, take a class at a shop or at the local evening school.You can also find lots of info on the internet.
