Me: "It's a letter." Daughter, "It's long." Me: "Yes." Daughter: "Can I read it?" Me: "Not until I do." Husband: "What's that?" Son: "WAAAA" , etc. I wish I could walk with you and your friend, I bet that it would be a lot of fun. I miss my long walks! Love those pens where we can write a lot on the postcards! I have not used dip pens, but would love to! I will have to look into getting my first one - any suggestions for my 1st dip pen? Comment: People don't realise how beautiful deserts can be, whether they are sand or ice and snow. Obviously, Scotland isn't a desert, but the harshness of the landscape, the all-encompassing whiteness reminds me a bit of the Arctic. Beautiful!

Comment: Thanks for the recipes!!! :D It looks like we have similar cooking styles (if in doubt, bung it in, and it saves going to the supermarket for another day!!! lol) Quite a few are variations of things we cook, so it'll be interesting to compare different additions etc. We tried banana loaf in little cases for the same reason - they just scoffed them 2 at a time, I've now come to realize that i just have to do them in batches of 2 or 3 loaves... I'm intrigued by the lychee drink - I feel a trip to the shop for supplies coming on! I'll let you know how we get on with trying them all.
