Comment: I think I saw the movie version of P&P a long time ago, but I can't remember. I have to see it again. I am reading the book for the first time now. I have only ever read Northanger Abbey and that is because I lived in London at the time and visited Bath. I read Lord of the rings too. I recently saw Les Miserables and loved it. I bought the book, but have not read it yet. I live about 3 hrs from the city, it is more country here. It is nice that you asked this, because usually when I tell people that I live in New York, they usually think the city. Wow I can't believe you were in the city during hurricane Sandy!!! That must have been tough. Thank you for the book recommendations and the sunshine!!! It is still struggling here to stay nice.

I got a funny story about quail eggs ill have to share with you one time. Is your egg drop soup just like getting that 'ribbon' effect from the eggs when they are swirled in boiling stock? And why did you boil the chicken first to add to the casserole? I'm curious as I have always added raw meat to slow cook in my casseroles. Thanks for sharing these lovely photos with me.
