Comment: The minute I read the card to my daughters about the Sam Chapin statue missing one of its legs, they were like, "Let me see the postcard!" They are completely amazed that someone would steal a statue's leg. Thanks for the sharing this with us!
Response: lol, You're welcome. It's just funny that the statue had to be painted a fake bronze/copper color when they replaced the leg so they could hide the fact it was ever gone. I'm glad you all enjoyed!

Comment: I didn't know there was an Air Force Base in Mass.--thanks for the card! You know they all learn to fly in Colorado, right? Colorado Springs (about 60 miles south of Denver where I live) is home to the USAF Academy. We stop sometimes and watch their training gliders with Pike's Peak as the backdrop.
