Please see here for info BUT this swap will be:

  • Halloween themed
  • Have 4 pockets (not 8)
  • Sender's choice as to what you put in each pocket

I know some people have strict/specific Halloween phobias/preferences, etc., but if you do, maybe this isn't the swap for you - it can be difficult for some people to access seasonal supplies, and I don't want anyone not to join for fear they cannot please a "particular" partner. (";)

Cut a 12" x 12" sheet of double sided scrapbooking paper in half and use one half (12" x 6") to make the book with 4 pockets. If you do not have access to Halloween double-sided paper, just use appropriate colours and decorate it accordingly.

I have set the dates for this swap to maximize our chances of receiving our swaps in time for Halloween.

Please Note:

I know this is a really great group of swappers, and I try to keep up on profile checks, but just in case you do not receive your swap within a reasonable period of time, and have tried but cannot work it out with your partner, please do let me know. I will always angel (or arrange an angel) for you if you do not receive your swap, as long as you have rated your partner a 1. (Ò€œ;)

maroyau, in this group, when we refer to "Mini Books with Pockets", we are referring to a specific style, and link back to the original swap we did for them. Please make sure you make one that looks like this:

They have been so popular with members that we do them periodically. But I am certainly willing to do a swap for an open style mini book sometime soon if you like. (";)

I made two of these today, one out of a full sheet of paper (12x12) and the other using a half sheet. (6x12) I have to say, the half sheet 4 pocket one turned out better. Neater. I love these! And I love that Graphic 45 paper. :)

I've made the 8 pocket ones before and loved it -perfect size for ATC cards, etc. I've even done with one using a 12x12 wallpaper sample.

Wait till you see the new graphic 45 songbird and nutcracker sweet groups. If you go to embellishonline, you can see them...but not available yet.

I assume for the 4 pocket we cut the paper in half so we have 6x12. Then still do a score at 2" on the long side. Then score at 3",6",9" on the short side.

I hope I understand correctly. Going to bust out a sample one tonight.
