Oh yeah! I click to send my comment and the page elongates with each item on a different line. Well now I feel silly. :)

When you type two spaces at the end of a line then the display shows a line feed without all those extra blank lines.............. ....................

Is there a minimum or maximum size these flat items should be?

No size minimum/maximum. But I think the envelope should be at least A5 sized

I'm wondering if there is a spending minimum? I googled the term scavenger hunt and read that you were not supposed to spend anything. Are you supposed to not spend anything here aswell? Sorry for weird questions but I'm new and I want to be completely sure that I'm doing it right. :)
