Description:

I would like to start a monthly swap of this block, the idea being that by the end of the year every participant will have a decent size quilt. Especially if you are like me and make a block for yourself for every block you send out.

Tutorial

Please use 6 different fabrics and Square it up to 12,5"

As this is a group swap I will not specify rating requirements. Please communicate if a deadline can't be met. I will angel if need be, but understand that if I have to angel for you you are banned from any of my future swaps.

This method of making Round the World blocks is so easy! But, it doesn't make 12.5" blocks with the 2.5" strips, only 12".

yes they are 12" finished in the quilt, but one block measures 12,5". I made several using this method. Starch and a scant 1/4" seam do the trick for me.
