I want to join this swap - but I'm not sure my homemade card would be 'Samhain-y' enough. Would a more fall/autumn/natuery card count?

Definitely, Sarah =) You could also buy a Halloween card from the store that doesn't have the typical 'Happy Halloween' greeting inside. The Samhain part of this swap comes from the Samhain greeting you'll write inside.
