| Description: | |
| Hello All, You will make a 12-1/2 inch square block using black and white fabrics. The design and method of making the block is maker's choice -- a traditional block (many ideas online and in magazines), a block of your own design, a paper pieced block -- just so you use black and white, applique if you like. Here is the TWIST - If your partner would like a TWIST of color - They will comment below what color they would like added in. I would suggest adding a tonal small print fabric for that pop of color. We have all seen those gorgeous black and white quilts with that splash of color. I have found some nice examples on this website http://sodypopsart.wordpress.com/2009/04/02/black-and-white-quilt/ I will check the comments regularly for questions and answer them the best I can. I plan to do this as a monthly swap - If we get regulars that would like to push the time up a bit and do more than one a month or increase partners I'd be willing to do that too. If I am unable to carry this on I would love for someone else to take the reins in the future! You do NOT have to have a twist - and if you do not comment below your partner should assume that you just want a black & white block! | |
