In this swap- you will making 6 friendship books- they can have a pic of something you like to do- such as crochet- you could put a pic of yarn, or something made from yarn. If you like to cook- put a pic of something you enjoy cooking. These will be things you like to do. Please have fun decorating them. You will have 1 partner- make them for anyone-except your partner.

I'm sorry, I don't understand this:

"You will have 1 partner- make them for anyone-except your partner."

Am I just missing something fundamental about friendship books? I get that they get passed on, but how are we supposed to not make them for our partner? I mean, we don't know where they're going eventually... do we?

You will be making 6 friendship books with c's all over the cover.....the friendship book has to belong to somebody, which can be anyone but your partner. Whoever it belongs to is who it gets sent home to after it is full. That way when you send these 6 fb's to your partner, he/she can sign them and pass them on and not be sending their own fb's out. Make sense?
