Create a handmade lavender sachet (natural lavender, no store-bought lavender potpourri blends, please)

There are many great online tutorials for creating sachet squares -- but feel free to get creative with the shape. Circles, animal shapes, patchwork . . . whatever you think would make a memorable swap.

Please line the sachet, or use fabics with a very tight weave, so that the lavender buds don't poke through and "escape".

This is a US only swap (there are so many agricultural import/export rules between countries, that it is problematic to make this an international swap)

Ratings of 4.5 and above only.

So, we have to find live lavender and dry it and then use that to make the cachet? Or did you mean to buy just a bunch dried lavender not mixed with anything else?

YorkieMom - No, you don't have to dry your own : )

Yes, dried lavender (just not fake potpourri oil-scented lavender)

I live in Sequim, WA, the "lavender capital of the U.S." We even have a Lavender Festival every July. I've got TONS of dried lavender from our own lavender bushes in our yard. If anyone wants a small baggie of it, I'm willing to send it in exchange for postage. Just pm me.

I'd join this swap, but as I mentioned I've already got TONS of lavender and don't need any more!
