I recently participated in a primitive stitchery swap (just a beginner at embroidery:) and loved it! Am totally addicted to Christmas and thought .........why not a Christmas prim stitchery? Anyone else so addicted is welcome to join me.
How about we make them to fit a block 6.5ins sq? (Can you tell I'm a quilter? LOL) If we leave 1/2in all way round anyone who wants to put it in a qullt or wallhanging will be able to do so.
In case people are gettiing busy at this time of year we'll have a bit longer than my usual swaps. No stress people. Newbies welcome, the more the merrier. Let's have fun!

Can you please explain what you mean by primitive stitchery? Do you mean the brand name embroidery patterns or pretty simple line embroidery? I guess where I'm from this is confusing :)

OrangeAUgirl, yes, primitive stitchery is a bit confusing. I've done one prim swap to learn what it is LOL. It's just simple backstitch (all I can do) and simple designs, even drawings you've done yourself and simply stitched. Pics can come from colouring books, Christmas cards, mag pattern sheets, any pic that is Christmassy will do. Hope this clears it up a bit. Oh and I think you can google primitive stitcheries/stitching and see some designs too. Hope you join us:)

OK, this sounds like a great first swap on swap bot for me :) Are we sending one 6.5" block to our one partner or more?
