Cleaning out my basement the other day led me to some old postcards I've had sitting around. Clearly, I need to use them for something, and what higher purpose than poetry?

Here's the outline of this swap:

  • Everyone will have two partners, so that means you'll have to find two postcards. They can be the same image or different.

  • Find a line of poetry, an entire poem, a haiku, or write something yourself that fits with the image on the postcard. It doesn't need to fit well, but hopefully the link should be fairly obvious.

  • Send the postcards and enjoy!

Simple and interesting, right?

This swap is US Only, for those of us on tight budgets and time frames. Sorry! This is open to everyone, including newbies with full profiles. I reserve the right to cut anyone from the swap that I see fit.

does this need to be a 'bought' postcard? or can it be a 'made' one with a pic that goes with the poem? either way, i'm good. ( I may still buy mine, even if handmade is allowed, but I just want to be sure of the particulars).
