For this swap you will make this darling little paper bag gift bag found in this tutorial. There you can find a link to another one for more decorating ideas.

You will send 1 paper bag gift bag to 1 partner. The bag will be sender's choice, so get started now.

You can but DON'T HAVE TO send a little something extra in the bag. Something flat like a few diecuts or a sheet of stickers won't add much to postage.

Participation Requirements: No 1s or 3s. Must have done more than just e-mail swaps.

Thanks for the kind comments ladies. I have so many projects I want to do, but won't do them unless make them for a swap. This really helps me out and helps others find these awesome ideas too.

These are to be decorated as the sender wishes? Of course, its alwasy nice to check your partners profile,( if they hate green then you shouldn't use green, for example) but other the overall colors and themes are up to the sender?

This is soooo cool. The first thing I did is take out my ruler to see, if the bag fits in the envie I can send to a decent price (as usualy my problem with your great swapideas LOL) Just to make sure, the template is for a finished size 4-1/4 x 5-1/2 right? I have to see if I find paperbags. We do have lunchbags, but they are white and of thinner paper. Would that be okay too? Questions over questions LOL

misskrystalx- Yes, the bag is entirely sender's choice. You can check preferences, but don't have to.

Emkay- I have to admit that I haven't yet made the bag, so I'm not exactly sure of the dimensions myself. Your dimensions seem about right though. I don't see why you couldn't use a white paper bag. That sounds more pleasing to the eye for the finished product even.

I made a few for friends last weekend and they turned out really well. Sorry I don't have a way to post pics. I made 2 out of paper lunch bags and 1 out a slightly smaller colored paper bag I had. I followed the instructions and everything worked out just fine. It was difficult for me to remember to insert my ribbon handles before attaching the cardstock to the bag, but I managed. Also, definitely follow the part about lining the cardstock up on front and back instead of matching it up with the sometimes imperfect bag. : )
