For this swap you will receive one partner. We'll be reading one Psalm and share what God is saying to us and how it applies to us. This is a non-denominational Christian devotion. We could use whatever Bible we feel comfortable with. We're not to criticize each others comments but to read them and encourage each other in the Lord. I found the S-O-A-P devotional method online. S= Scripture O= Observation A= Application P= Prayer

Thinking of joining...but not exactly sure what we are suppose to e-mail to each other...Can you help me out here? I'm looking for something to do devotional and like this idea.

We will begin at Psalm 1. Pray and read the Psalm slowly. Meditate on what is being said in the Psalm. Make observation notes such as what God is saying to you personally in that Psalm. If you want, you can dig into the background of that Psalm. Write down how you could apply it to your life. You could also write a short prayer. E-mail this or snail mail it to your partner. We will do one Psalm per month.
