Description:

For our first swap, we will swap an icicle doll. These are fantastic little dolls. Please make your doll at least 5 inches. You will make 1 doll for your 1 partner. You may choose any colors, materials, etc that you wish to create your doll.......just be sure she is shaped like an icicle.

Please be considerate of your partner. I do not put a lot of restrictions and rules because I want people to be creative and free, but please be considerate of your partner. If their profile states they hate pink, then please do not send a pink doll.

hope this isnt too dunb a question does the face have to be preprinted on the fabric? Im having trouble finding fabric faces - or can anyone suggest a good place to find fabric faces?

Nope, there are many options for faces. You can find a fabric face and cut it out, or you can stamp a face using a rubber stamp, you can print a face by running fabric through your printer, you can draw a face and color it in, you can transfer a face on to fabric, you can use another material like polymer clay or paper clay, or sculpt a face with fabric, or use an iron on image of the face, or make a face out of anything you want. There are so many options open to you. Have fun trying some!

kimmer, you can also try 'transfer artist papers.' i've used them a few times. you can print on it from yr computer & transfer the image right on to fabric (& other surfaces, too). what's really cool about it is that it's much more durable than traditional iron on transfers. after you transfer the image you can iron right on top of it!
