The quilting is going to add body and weight to the mat. Try to do it. Nobody cares if you use straight lines or meandering ones. You'll make the rug less of a napkin that way, too! Hope that helps!

I've never done it before, so I'd hate to make something lame, but I'll try :D I joined the same swap on "cuppa and a letter" group so I've more time and if it came out terrible I can modify a storebought one last minute XD Thank you <3
