Kawaii (pronounced “kah-wah-ee”) is a Japanese word that means cute or adorable.

In a stationery sense, it refers to items that are sweet, colorful, and charming, often featuring soft colors, playful designs, or cute illustrations like animals, food, or small objects with faces.

You will have 4 partners.

Send each partner one envelope filled with Kawaii stationery goodies with at least 4 items. Feel free to include extras if you’d like. Goodies can be any new, unused Kawaii items such as memo sheets, sticker flakes, washi samples, mini letter sets, die cuts, or other flat paper treats.

Please be thoughtful and generous with what you send. Don’t just include four memo sheets or a few single stickers and call it done. Many participants put a lot of time, effort, and love into their swaps, so try to make your envelope feel full and fair.

Since this is an international swap, please make sure you are currently able to mail to other countries before signing up. Postal strikes and suspensions are affecting some regions, and it’s each participant’s responsibility to confirm that their country can send international mail. This will help avoid confusion or disappointment once partners are assigned.

This is a sender’s choice swap, but it’s always nice to peek at your partners profiles to match their likes or avoid any dislikes.

Be sure to include the swap name and your Swap-bot username on or inside each envelope.
