I'm a retired 3rd grade teacher and live with my husband and dog, Uma, in a suburb of Chicago.

I love garage sales, estate sales and thrift stores. Collect sugar and creamers, paper ephemera, and dollhouse miniatures.

I love to slow stitch and make junk journals. I upcycle as much as I can. Also into postcrossing and pen paling.

Comment: Thank you for the great playing cards and your nice note. No snow here yet, though we did go to Maine last week and I got a bit of snowshoeing in with my pseudo-grandchildren. Our little family gathering of seven will be right here, as usual. Our daughters travel at Thanksgiving but we have everyone for Christmas. I too am a bit introverted. It is one of the two annoying leftovers from mild childhood Autism. Best Wishes for safe travels and a Joyous Holiday Season.
