Hi, I'm Sigrid and live in northern Michigan in a small town surrounded by farmland and woods. We have a post office, a gas station, 2 family-owned restaurants, an ice cream store, a small hardware store, 2 churches, and a Dollar General. It is probably the friendliest town in America, where we wave at strangers in passing, greet you as 'honey' or 'sweetheart', and care about each other. Neighbors respect neighbors and alert each other to the occasional trespassing of bears, cougars, skunks, coyotes, and possums. That said, we are not without difficulty, random crimes, a few mean people, and those who are difficult to live with.

My hobby is making things in vintage French Shabby Chic. It's dainty and feminine with flowing fabrics, laces, delicate flowers, and some fo my favorite things to make are: Personal Journals, Snippet Strips, Tags, Cards, Pockets and folders.

I collect Ephemera, Sari silk ribbons, antique fabric and laces, beaded lace, handmade lace, coffee or tea stained papers, fussy cut flowers, old die cuts, and I prefer feminine colors, usually pastels.

Swapping with you is very important to me. I send within the timeframe allowed, sometimes much sooner.

I normally rate your swap the day I receive it, or the day after. You deserve to know that the effort you put into your swap was received.

If either of us are not able to complete a swap, or will be late with one, let's reach out and let each other know what to expect. I'm easy going and understand that sometimes life happens.
