Full-time elementary school media specialist who belongs to two very different quilt guilds. Married with one dog and five nieces. My furkid and I are a registered therapy dog team and we are affiliated with R.E.A.D.ing Paws. We R.E.A.D. with kids twice a month at the public library.

I've sewn off and on for the past twenty years, but became a "serious" quilter five years ago after we finished out dedicated studio space in the basement. It's my happy place. I try to get there for at least 15 minutes a day.

Green, turquoise, aqua and the colors of the sea are my favorite colors. I collect dog prints and novelty prints that represent one specific letter of the alphabet ("z" for zebra, "d" for dolls, "g" for grass, etc.) I also like retro prints from the 30's and 40's.
